April 2012

I love Spring, and I love Easter.  Both are times of re-birth.  I'd like to share a few photos I've taken in April with you.

This is Wilbur.  He was hanging around my animal loving friends' house, so of course they adopted him.  He is beautiful.

During my visit with Wilbur, he showed me he was a very energetic kitten, and climbed several trees.  Here he is getting a bird's eye view of the yard.

Easter with my great nieces is a lot of fun.  Easter Bunny left some eggs at their Pappy's house and the girls were excited to find them all.  

After the Easter meal, and the Easter Egg Hunt, we celebrated Addyson's 1st birthday.  This is Eden anxiously awaiting a piece of cake.

I experimented with photo processing on the next two photos.  Feel free to give me any feedback.

Photo processing is almost as much fun as taking the pictures.  Here are two different versions of the same photo of a blossoming tree.

Delightful Spring

Spring is my favorite time of the year.  Flowers are peeking out of the ground, trees are blooming, many with beautifully colored blossoms, the grass is turning from brown to light green, and the days become longer.

The blossoming trees are my favorite.  Spring is so gorgeous!

Sunflower Girls

The sunflower field at Golden Farms along Munster Road is just gorgeous.  I thought it would be a great background for shots of my beautiful great-nieces.
